Internships

Youtheatre offers hands-on internship opportunities for students and emerging professionals who want to gain real-world experience in the arts. Our internships provide practical training, mentorship, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a professional theatre environment. While internships are unpaid, they can qualify for school credit.

We offer a variety of internship tracks to match your interests and career goals:
  • Artistic/Production Interns – Assist with set design, costumes, props, lighting, sound, and stage management to bring shows from page to stage.
  • Education Interns – Support classes, workshops, and youth productions while gaining experience in arts education and program development.
  • Special Events Interns – Help plan and execute fundraising events, community programs, and outreach initiatives.
  • Social Media & Marketing Interns – Create content, manage social platforms, and learn strategies to engage audiences online.

All internships provide practical experience, skill-building, and mentorship while contributing to Youtheatre’s mission of inspiring young people through theatre.
