Inspire the next generation of theatre-makers! Fort Wayne Youtheatre is seeking passionate theatre educators to join our team as contracted Teaching Artists, leading classes, workshops, and specialized programs for students ages 3–18. Join us as a Production Guest Artist in our 2026-2027 Season! Set Leads are hired as independent contractors (stipend pay) to construct, paint, and install stage sets based on basic designs provided by Youtheatre. Requirements include proven experience in scenic construction or custom carpentry, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a willingness to help teach interested youth and adults set-related skills. Youtheatre offers hands-on internship opportunities for students and emerging professionals who want to gain real-world experience in the arts. Our internships provide practical training, mentorship, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a professional theatre environment. While internships are unpaid, they can qualify for school credit.
All internships provide practical experience, skill-building, and mentorship while contributing to Youtheatre’s mission of inspiring young people through theatre.
